1. Payment Methods 1.1. In Store 1.1.1. The types of payment available in store are cash, EFTPOS, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Diners Club and Australian Money Order.
1.2. Phone/Email 1.2.1. The types of payment available for out-of-store purchases are Direct Debit and Australian Money Order.
2. Layby Items 2.1. Kirk's Camera Supply has a maximum period of two (2) calendar months on all layby sales; 2.2. The period between layby payments shall not exceed two (2) weeks unless arranged at the time of commencement of the layby; 2.3. Layby sale is not available on items that are “on special” or where Kirk’s Camera Supply is beating the price of another retailer; 2.4. Kirk's Camera Supply will charge a restocking fee if a layby is cancelled. The restocking fee will be 20% of the total cost of the items on layby. 3. Hold Items 3.1. Kirk's Camera Supply will hold items with a retail value of less than or equal to A$300.00, and where there are at least two (2) of those items in stock, for two (2) working days with no deposit required and no obligation to buy; 3.2. Kirk's Camera Supply will hold items with a retail value of more than A$300.00 only where the customer provides a holding deposit. The value of the holding deposit will be 10% of the total price of the items to be held. The maximum hold period for this type of item is two (2) working days; 3.3. Kirk's Camera Supply will not hold items that are on special or when price beating. 4. Ordered Items 4.1. Kirk’s Camera Supply requires a deposit of 50% of the total cost of the item to order in items that are not normally held in stock. 5. Payment Surcharges 5.1. Payments made using a Visa, MasterCard or Bankcard credit or debit card may attract a payment surcharge of 1.0% of the total cost (including GST) of the goods being purchased; 5.2. Payments made using a American Express or Diners Club credit or debit card may attract a payment surcharge of 3.0% of the total cost (including GST) of the goods being purchased; 5.3. EFTPOS payment is only available on payments over A$10.00 (including GST). 6. Price Beating 6.1. Kirk's Camera Supply reserves the right to only beat prices against Australian retailers; 6.2. Kirk's Camera Supply reserves the right to only beat prices against products sourced from the official Australian distributor; 6.3. Kirk's Camera Supply reserves the right to only beat prices against products that are not being sold as “loss leader” items at another retailer; 6.4. Kirk's Camera Supply reserves the right to only beat prices against products that are in stock and available for sale at another retailer; 6.5. Kirk's Camera Supply reserves the right to only beat prices against products that are not “shop soiled”, “damaged”, “repaired” or “remanufactured” items; 6.6. Kirk's Camera Supply reserves the right to only beat prices against products that are not “end-of-product”, “run-out” or “shelf stock” items; 6.7. Kirk's Camera Supply reserves the right to refuse to do business with any individual, company or other legal entity.
