Can be mounted on a conventional camera tripod, but we also provide an optional AZ3 mount which is very sturdy and comes with fine motion controls for precise positioning as well as sturdiness (vibration is the enemy of good viewing). The very large aperture means not only greater powers but brighter images than smaller diameter scopes.
