The perfect complement to those that want to
take high quality photos through their telescope or spotting scope.
Using this adapter many scopes have a matching thread on the drawtube
of the telescope to screw the camera body onto with this T-mount. The
telescope then becomes the lens (the lens focal length is the focal
length of the telescope). The F-ratio is the effective F-ratio of the
telescope (calculate it by dividing the diameter into the focal length,
eg a telescope with a focal length of 1000mm divided by the aperture of
100mm would be F10). Shown here mounted to an SLR body (attaches in the same way as a normal lens. Normal lenses are not used). If you require higher powers you will normally also require a camera adapter tube which can accommodate eyepieces.
